Jason began his career at Rasch Construction in 1993 as a shop helper, laying the foundation for a nearly three-decade-long tenure. Over the years, he progressed through various roles, gaining invaluable experience in the construction industry.
During his time at Rasch Construction, Jason played a pivotal role in managing federal contracts from 2001 to 2011. Under his leadership, the company grossed nearly $75 million in construction contracts and achieved record-breaking years in both revenue and employment. As the primary contact for the Federal Government, Jason oversaw project management and quality control, ensuring the company’s success in delivering exceptional results.
Jason is also proud of the bonds he forged with employees, fostering a family-like culture. Seeing long-term employees retire after fulfilling careers was one of his greatest joys. His leadership during challenging times, such as the 2009-2012 recession and the 2020-2022 pandemic, showcased his resilience and ability to guide the company through adversity.

In 2013, while still at Rasch Construction, Jason founded JDR Painting to meet the growing demand for painting services in commercial and industrial projects. This venture, which began as a solution to a need he identified through his work at Rasch, has grown into one of the largest painting contractors in the state.
Today, JDR Painting employs 60 team members and serves high-profile clients, including Fortune 500 companies and even billionaires. Jason takes immense pride in JDR’s reputation as the preferred contractor for these accounts.
